Mind Your Language of Learning Outcomes

This talk on “Mind Your Language of Learning Outcomes” will address various topics of Learning Outcomes (LOs) like Pedagogy, Assessment, Evaluation, Feedback and Quality Improvement of teaching strategy. An accurate technical definition of the structure of LOs becomes the fulcrum of the entire educational system and process.

Dr. Hussain, a global expert in Outcomes Based Education, will present a fundamental structure of LOs design and application. He will elaborate on some common pitfalls of writing outcomes and their consequent detrimental impact on various aspects of education.

Dr. Hussain will also provide some samples of standard course materials to help faculty, accreditation evaluators and other stake holders enhance their understanding of the application accurate LOs. This webinar is a must for teachers, accreditation evaluators and other stake holders of the engineering education process.

We will conclude with student feedback and lessons learned for those who might want to replicate this experience at their institutions.
