Chester holds a degree in economics at the University of the Philippines. He’s been a learning and development professional for more than 15 yrs — first half of which is in the IT/ BPO, and the latter half in the education sector. In the early years of his BPO career, he led the technical training team servicing one of the largest computer companies in the world. He also led a design and development team in one fortune 500 company, supporting the leadership development program of 42 delivery centers across the globe. In 2014, Chester joined Ayala Education to help design and develop the senior high school curriculum of its schools. He’s part of the team that brought low-cost but effective education technology into the classroom. This was deployed across Ayala’s schools, one of which is the largest chain of private high schools in the Philippines (with 20+ branches and 18k+ students). In 2019, Ayala Education merged with iPeople (Mapua University and Malayan Colleges) to form one of the largest education conglomerates in the country. At iPeople, Chester plays a key role in the organization’s innovation team– incubating new ideas for possible business ventures and developing innovation awareness across the iPeople schools’ leadership team.
