From Classroom to Boardroom:How Katalyst India is Shaping Women Leaders in STEM

Join us for a webinar featuring Poorvi Shah, CEO of Katalyst India, an award-winning non-profit organization dedicated to the economic and social empowerment of women in STEM. Since 2007, Katalyst has been transforming the lives of high-potential young women across India by equipping them with the skills, mentorship, and support needed to thrive in STEM and assume leadership roles in the future.

In this session, Poorvi will share an overview of Katalyst’s comprehensive four-year program for engineering students, highlighting its impact on their academic journeys, career trajectories, and personal growth.

She will also reflect on her recent experience at WEEF 2024, where Katalyst was honored with the GEDC 2024 Diversity Award, and discuss the value of conferences like WEEF in fostering learning, connection, and recognition for organizations committed to the engineering community.

Whether you’re an educator, industry leader, or advocate for inclusion, this is an opportunity to learn how structured interventions can drive systemic change.
