Brent Felder Webinar 7: Critical thinking: What is it about and how to develop it among our students

A critical thinking approach requires not going directly to the answer, but rather proposing it, testing it for reasonableness, and arriving at a conclusion based on the results of those tests. Such an approach can be described as “thinking like a scientist”, but it would be more accurate to say that all critical thinkers, including scientists, rely on methods that, while inspired by the development of modern science, are relevant to all aspects of life.

In this workshop, the speaker will explain the basics of critical thinking and will invite the participants to participate in some exercises that may serve as examples of how to develop this competency among their students.
