IFEES offers capacity building webinars for engineering educators and stakeholders. Each webinar tackles cutting-edge and controversial topics in engineering and engineering pedagogy, facilitated by top-rated professionals from academia and industry. The 2020 English series is being facilitated by Krishna Vedula from the Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE) and the Spanish series is being facilitated by María Teresa Garibay.
The theme for WEEF 2024 is Engineering: Learning for Life. This theme invites discussion on a range of topics including the learning needed at different stages of a professional engineering career from school through to leadership levels in professional practice; learning to develop different capabilities in response to changing environments; learning how engineers can support life on the planet and work towards achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals with a focus on gender equality in engineering.
We are honored to announce that our Rising to the Top book series has added TWO new volumes!
Rising to the Top provides an intimate and inspiring look into the experiences that have shaped the lives and careers of women engineering leaders from around the world. By openly sharing their personal journeys in these pages, the authors hope to not only inspire the next generation of engineering leaders, but also provide valuable insight into the challenges facing women engineers around the world, and the opportunities that are theirs for the taking.
